ARNHEM - Dutch motocross rider Jeffrey Herlings is the winner of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in Arnhem, part of the MXGP World Championship. The defending champion, Spaniard Jorge Prado, finished second, while Slovenian ace Tim Gajser took third place. Gajser's lead in the overall standings over Prado slightly decreased after today's two races.

SPIELBERG - Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) won the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg, part of the MotoGP World Championship. Spaniard Jorge Martin (Pramac Ducati) finished second, which means Bagnaia now has a five-point lead over his closest rival in the championship standings. Another Ducati rider, Italian Enea Bastianini, took third place.

LISBON - Australian Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck) won the second stage of the Vuelta a España. On the 194 km route from Cascais to Ourém in Portugal, he was the best in the bunch sprint. Belgian Wout Van Aert took the overall lead, while Slovenian star Primož Roglič finished the stage with the winner's time.

KRAKOW - Danish cycling star Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike) is the winner of the 81st Tour of Poland. The only Slovenian representative, Matej Mohorič, last year’s winner, finished sixth overall with a 44-second deficit. The final stage today was won in a sprint by Dutchman Olav Kooij.

DOMŽALE/LJUBLJANA - The footballers of Kalcer Radomlje and Maribor drew 1-1 (0-1) in the 5th round of the Telemach First League. Olimpija and Celje also played to a draw, with the final score 2-2 (1-1).

ALPE D'HUEZ - Polish cyclist Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon-SRAM) is the winner of the third edition of the Tour de France Femmes. In the final stage from Le Grand-Bornand to Alpe d'Huez (149.9 km), she defended all attacks from the Dutch duo at the front and maintained a four-second lead for the overall victory. The stage was won by last year's champion, Dutchwoman Demi Vollering.
