NOVO MESTO - The Slovenian basketball first-league team Krka has strengthened its center position. As reported by the club, the 29-year-old American Brady Skeens will wear the Novo Mesto jersey.

BARCELONA - The Spanish football first-division team Barcelona has officially confirmed the arrival of Spanish international Dani Olmo. FRANKFURT - Defender Willian Pacho is moving from the German Bundesliga team Eintracht to the French champion PSG, Eintracht announced today. The Frankfurt club did not provide further details about the transfer, but media outlets estimate that the Ecuadorian's move is valued at 45 million euros.

WASHINGTON - Legendary golfer Juan Chi Chi Rodriguez has passed away at the age of 89, representatives of the PGA Tour, the organizers of professional golf tournaments in North America, announced. The winner of eight PGA tournaments was the first Puerto Rican to be inducted into the Golf Hall of Fame, reported the French news agency AFP.
